What is a typical Laya T woman?

She’s 20 through to 40, she’s a cool yummy mummy who likes to wear a crop top but doesn’t want to have their skin sticking out, they want to cover up a bit. They’re also health conscious and enjoy working out.

Laya T is described as “a new layering concept”. What does this mean?

There are a few different ways to wear it. Imagine you have a gorgeous evening top but you don’t want to show your stomach, and if you put a vest underneath you’ll have straps and so you end up putting it back in the closet. So I designed this piece to be half t-shirt and half vest -  which makes it pretty versatile, you can wear it out to the gym, shopping, or on a night out.

How do you get inspiration for your brand?

I really into the shape of a body. When someone is working out and seeing the shape. That it fits in all the right places. Not everyone's the same, but mostly it should work. And the factory tried it on everyone.
